"We're going to strike them really hard over the next couple of weeks. We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they truly belong," Trump stated during a nationally broadcast address.
He also mentioned that Iran has been significantly weakened and that the toughest part of the conflict is behind them, asserting that after 32 days of US military action, Iran is "really no longer a threat."
Reiterating that the United States doesn't rely on the Strait of Hormuz, Trump urged nations that depend on oil from this vital waterway to show "courage" and take control of it, while emphasizing that Washington will ensure its Middle Eastern allies remain safe.
