Reduce The Price Of Fuel Pump, Nigerians Are Hungry - Bishop Kukah Tells Tinubu





Mathew Hassan Kukah, the bishop of Sokoto catholic diocese has sent a strong message to President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.


urging them to reduce the current price of fuel in the country.


Bishop Kukah made this call in Abuja on Friday during the official unveiling of The Progressive Institute, TPI, he made it clear that Nigerians are hungry.


We should remember that the pump price of petrol was recently increased to about N897 by the NNPCL.


Kukah, while delivering his goodwill message during the APC event, said: “We Nigerians are hungry. Find a way of reducing the price of fuel.


“Unless democracy is anchored on sound foundation, we will be building on sand. I am concerned about the quality of democracy in Nigeria. We need to fix the problem with democracy in Nigeria.”


APC leaders at the event include the national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio represented by the deputy Senate president and others numerous to mention.
