Scammers Impersonated Binance Australia

scammers have impersonated Binance in a sophisticated cryptocurrency scam. Recently, Australian authorities uncovered a scheme where fraudsters sent fake messages, appearing as Binance customer support, to deceive users.

These messages claimed that the victim's account was compromised and instructed them to transfer their cryptocurrency to a "trust wallet" for protection. Unfortunately, this wallet was controlled by the scammers.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) have warned over 130 individuals about a new SMS scam targeting cryptocurrency users by impersonating legitimate exchanges like Binance. Scammers send fake messages claiming account breaches and instructing victims to set up new wallets.

If you're into cryptocurrency, it's important at this point to stay vigilant and verify any communication directly through official channels. Have you encountered anything like this before?
