President Bola Tinubu has announced a "Ban" on the importation of foreign goods in Nigeria especially those that can be produced locally in the country.
This policy is called the **Renewed Hope Nigeria First Policy**, aims to strengthen Nigeria’s domestic economy, promote local industries, and reduce dependency on foreign goods and services
Additionally, the policy places restrictions on expatriates taking jobs that Nigerian professionals and artisans can handle unless they receive special approval from the **Bureau of Public Procurement
The policy is expected to boost local businesses such as ;Dangote Refinery, Innoson Motors, and other indigenous manufacturers
