President Tinubu Reduces Dialysis For Kidney Patients From #50,000 To #12000

The Nigerian Federal Government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has significantly cut the cost of kidney dialysis in federal hospitals from ₦50,000 to ₦12,000, marking a 76% reduction.

This change, reported by Naija News, aims to make healthcare more affordable for many Nigerians in need of dialysis. The new pricing is already in effect at ten key medical centers across the country.

The Special Adviser to the President, Daniel Bwala, highlighted this intervention as a major relief for those suffering from kidney diseases.

The government plans to expand this scheme to more facilities later this year. This is part of Tinubu's efforts to improve healthcare accessibility, which also includes previous initiatives like offering free cesarean sections in federal hospitals.
