5 People Died In Russia And Ukraine Drone Attack




Five people have died in recent drone strikes in Russia and Ukraine as both sides continue their military actions. Ukrainian officials reported that Russia launched over 200 drones and nearly 30 missiles, mostly hitting Dnipropetrovsk, where three fatalities occurred.


In Russia, two people died in Rostov due to a fire from a Ukrainian drone strike. Both sides shared updates on their operations; Russia claimed to have seized two villages in eastern Ukraine, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that his troops were gradually pushing Russian forces out of the Sumy region.


He noted that Russian attacks also targeted Kharkiv and Sumy, emphasizing the need for a response and highlighting that Ukraine's long-range drones are effective. Zelensky mentioned that Russian military sites must understand the consequences of their actions, asserting that Ukraine's drone strikes could lead to peace.


Additionally, six people were injured in Dnipropetrovsk due to strikes on residential and industrial areas. Zelensky confirmed that Ukrainian forces were making progress in pushing back Russian troops in Sumy.
