Nigeria Defeat Morroco To Win 10th Women's African Cup Of Nation's Title






Nigeria came back from two goals down to beat Morocco 3-2 in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, winning their 10th title.


The Super Falcons had only allowed one goal in the tournament before this match. Morocco took the lead with goals from Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaâ Mssoudy.






However, Nigeria fought back. Esther Okoronkwo scored a penalty in the 64th minute, Flourish Ijamilusi equalized in the 71st, and Jennifer Echegini scored the winning goal in the 88th minute, securing Nigeria's victory.
