Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retired), the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, has appointed new chairmen and members for eight boards of the Rivers State University Governing Council, led by Okey Wali.
He also made appointments for the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, with Sampson Parker as chairman.
Other appointments include Samuel Nwanosike as chairman of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency and several chairpersons for various education and health boards.
The inauguration date for the new appointees is not yet announced.
