Former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki has a court deadline set for September 24, 25, and 26, 2025, in a trial that has lasted nearly ten years. He is facing charges of illegal firearms possession and money laundering. The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the government to present its remaining witnesses and evidence to support the case against Dasuki. He has been on trial since 2015 under charges that were amended during the previous administration. In the latest hearing, a witness stated that following Dasuki's arrest, searches were conducted at his homes in Abuja, Kaduna, and Sokoto for weapons and money.
