Suspend The Protest, Tinubu Has Vowed To Create 500,000 Jobs - Minister Of Steel, Audu Abubakar Begs Protesters





Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, the Minister of Steel Development, has appealed to Nigerians to suspend the nationwide protest against President Bola Tinubu’s government saying that the president has good plans now for the citizens.

This appeal was made in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Friday in Abuja.

The minister assured Nigerians protesting against rising economic hardship that Tinubu is working very hard make sure that the current challenges in the country is being fixed.

He mentioned the achievements made by this current government and promised Nigerians that they will get all that they are expecting from this administration before 2027.

The government is working tirelessly day and night to make sure they revive the country’s steel plants, the Tinubu administration is targeting the creation of 500,000 direct and indirect jobs in the steel sector.

“Iam appealing to the angry Nigerians to please suspend the protests against the present administration. Please let us resort to dialogue to address all these issues believing that this administration under president Tinubu will fix everything to our satisfaction.


The President has shown much concern for the present conditions of Nigerians with the recent implementation of the N70,000 minimum wage for workers, driving the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiative with CNG vehicles to cushion the impact of the removal of fuel subsidy which will reduce the high cost of transportation by at least 70 percent he added.. He is still gearing up to facilitate other things that will move his administration and the nation forward as well.
